CONCORD, N.C. - Blaine Anderson was named to the Round of 16 Mechanix Wear All-Stars. This honor identifies who was the best at their respective pit crew position through the first three-race round of the playoffs.

Anderson has been a front-tire changer on the No. 5 HendrickCars.com team since the 17th race of the season at Nashville Superspeedway.

In Saturday's race at Bristol Motor Speedway, the No. 5 pit crew gained driver Kyle Larson seven spots on pit road over the course of the 500-lap event en route to his fifth-place finish.

Hendrick Motorsports pit crews have had a solid season to date. The No. 9 pit crew has the fourth-best average four-tire stop time this season at 11.847 seconds, based on data from Racing Insights.

The No. 24 pit crew has the ninth-best average four-tire stop time this season at 12.054 seconds, according to RI. In the playoffs, the pit crew for driver William Byron has elevated its game, posting the third-best average four-tire stop time at 10.821 seconds, per RI.

The No. 48 pit crew's timely work at Kansas Speedway with two pit stops under 10.15 seconds during stage two of the race helped put driver Alex Bowman in position for the stage win. Their work also contributed to him leading a race-high 107 laps in the middle race of the Round of 16.
